Dear Informed Librarian: We are grateful to all of you who value our one-stop professional current awareness resource, The Informed Librarian Online. Many of you have been with us from the very beginning; others have become Informed Librarians along the way through The Informed Librarian Online and its web site www.informedlibrarian.com Multiple enhancements to The Informed Librarian Online were introduced and future expansions are under development. Our Search Module is now ready for alpha-testing. This exciting enhancement will revolutionize the way you research library periodical literature, enabling you to search tens of thousands of articles from 275 different journals, from archives to the most recent articles. The ongoing development of enhancements has created the need for a change in the business model of The Informed Librarian Online, resulting in two levels of site access -- Premium Membership and Free Membership. Premium Members are entitled to the same level of access presently available and will receive individual passwords with full access to all features of the web site. Free Members will receive a monthly email announcing new issues, with a web page link offering a limited version of the current issue and selected hyperlinked titles. (Access to the web site will only be available using current passwords until May 31.) We are committed to servicing information professionals with our

Until May 31, 2004, the nominal annual fee for Premium Membership is $25. Bulk memberships, and student and retiree memberships are available at an even greater discount (as low as $10 per member). As an additional BONUS, if you upgrade now, your subscription will run through June 1, 2005. Beginning June 1, 2004, the cost of Premium Membership for full web site access
will increase. All members who do not upgrade by this date will continue as Free Members with limited access.
